P&C (Farrer School Community Association)
The Farrer School Community Association (P&C) is the voice of parents and the community on how the school is performing in the educational and social development of our children. The P&C is about contributing to making our school great for our children, our teachers, staff and parents. We do this by promoting discussion, providing services and raising funds.
Our fund raising activities are directed at a number of purposes
- We cover the sustainment FPS P&C. Including council affiliation, insurance, canteen management and uniform stock.
- We fundraise for projects in support of the school, in collaboration with the school. Current fundraising is aimed at improvements to the outdoor space, including outdoor learning, play and amenity.
In the past, major project undertakings by the P&C have included; the purchase of new basketball / netball hoops and stands, extension of the Cameron playground area, outdoor eastern rosella mural and whole school excursion fees for athletics and swimming carnivals.
Our meetings are your chance to learn what is going on in your child's school and how we as a school community can assist in your child's learning. There are many ways in which you can be involved and all input is valued and encouraged.
